How many combinations of car registration plates in UK are made per year or half year? - why would one compare plates amp/x-gal and amp/x-gal/pgal

Statastic'm after a number plate of a car only in relation to other unique data.

Well, let's see ... How many letters are used in things the first 2 letters. I know that they are the place regestration .... or say something / Preston PE, PN, PO, what to see, as they are. Times that number by 26, then 26 and then again by another 26 ... If we assume that the other 2 cards are "random" and get all the combinations (I do not think that what would we do ... but what if) the sum of 26, the power of the 5 ... 11881376, so yeah!

It depends on the number of vehicles first put into service during the year or a year and a half. Two plates of each vehicle. Each registration number is unique for reasons that should be clear.
